Why SSTT has formed?

We, as residents of Torbay, are concerned about the following

• The impact of transport on our environment – air quality, congestion, parking, climate change, the natural environment.
• The impact of transport on us as individuals – health, equity, financial, road danger, lack of choice.
• The future impact of failing to act – worsening of current issues, compounded by increasing population and development.

What does SSTT want to achieve?

Safe, Sustainable Travel Torbay (SSTT) is campaigning for safe, accessible and enjoyable options for transport around Torbay.

We believe that increasing uptake of public transport and other forms of active travel will result in an overall shift away private vehicle use in Torbay. This will have real benefits for communities, individuals and in creating transport equity.
